It is machined from high-strength 7075-T651 aluminum alloy supplied by Aleris USA, an aluminum supplier that also serves major aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing, and Bombardier. The result is excellent stiffness, durability, and riding efficiency.

The precision CNC-machined narrow-wide tooth profile improves chain retention, reduces chain drop, sheds mud effectively, and delivers a quieter ride.

When using a Shimano 12-speed chain, replace the original Shimano 12-speed quick link with another compatible 12-speed quick link, such as KMC, YBN, SUMC, or another suitable brand. The original Shimano 12-speed quick link is too narrow and may not fit properly.
