This chianring spider is designed for Shimano’s new direct mount crank. The conversion specification is BCD104. It can be installed on the front side and back side to achieve different offsets.
You can get 3mm and 6mm offset from this spider, by different install direction.
At the same time, it can be transferred to a conventional BCD104 specification single chainirng, reducing the upgrade cost and increasing the versatility.
Different models of Shimano have different crank axle lengths. For example, M7100 and M7120 have different axle lengths. Customers can use this spider to install M7120 to obtain a 6mm offset to achieve the same chainline as M7100.
To solve the problem of the riders installing a big teeth against the frame, can install to the outside (negative offset).
